In a world where access to legal support is largely unattainable to low-income queer and trans immigrants, your $10 donation to Oasis goes a long way. All of our services are either free or extremely low-cost and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. With your support, we can provide critical services to more LGBTQ+ immigrants who may otherwise face impossible challenges to obtaining life-saving legal representation and social services.
The average cost of hiring a private immigration attorney is staggering (up to $20,000). For many, it's simply out of reach. Yet, the need for legal assistance among LGBTQ+ immigrants is dire. There are an estimated 300,000 undocumented LGBTQ+ immigrants in the U.S., but only a small portion of LGBTQ+ funding (4 cents for every dollar raised) is allocated to immigration services. This means that LGBTQ+ immigrants often struggle to find the support they need to navigate complex legal systems; and there are only a handful of legal service providers specifically trained to serve the LGBTQ+ immigrant population.

This May, Oasis is participating in Give OUT Day, a month-long giving competition with organizations across the country, rushing to raise the most unique donations of $10 or more.
